In the UK rabbits are the 3rd most common pet, but consideration for care of the geriatric patient is less well established than for cats and dogs. Rabbits can develop many similar conditions to traditional pet species, including chronic renal disease and osteoarthritis, but medical management and supportive care approaches vary significantly. Common age related diseases and their management will be discussed.
