The horse world is a different animal than the companion pets who live in our homes. This presentation will address some of the non-medical but incredibly influential and important aspects to creating a hospice care plan for the equine patient and its caretakers. There will be a discussion on some of the challenges that the equine species in general present to hospice care and medical management and how those challenges are addressed as a team.
